What Voluntary Assisted Dying looks like at Hakea Grove is yet to be determined. As you can appreciate, this is new legislation that must be considered thoroughly.
When Hakea Grove has determined its policy on Voluntary Assisted Dying, a resident and representative meeting will be held to provide information to all those that would like to attend, and to have the opportunity to ask any questions.

In the meantime, if you would like to discuss Voluntary Assisted Dying, please request to have a conversation with the Clinical Managers, Megan or Cindy, or Alison and Rebecca from the Clinical Governance Quality Team.
Due to the requirements with the legislation, our other staff are unable to provide you with information at this time.

Hakea Grove recognises that due to your beliefs or personal feelings, you may be a conscientious objector of Voluntary Assisted Dying, or that it may emotionally trigger you or your family. As above, you are encouraged to speak with the Clinical Managers or the Clinical Governance and Quality Team.
