As part of Dementia Action Week our residents and staff participated in a 3 day staggered walkathon around the grounds of Hakea Grove. Residents and staff dressed in Hawaiian / Holiday attire to go with the Staycation theme. The walkathon was to raise awareness and increase conversation around Dementia in Australia and how we can support people living with Dementia as well as their families. and friends.
